Below are some of the most frequently asked questions. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Simply go to the Therapist page under “Therapy Services” and have a look at our therapists. You can contact a therapist directly via the details they have given, or simply fill in the contact form shown throughout the website, click the box saying you would like therapy and give us the name of the therapist in the Your Message box. Don’t forget to give us your contact details too so that we can refer your query on to your chosen therapist.

Yes of course! We are more than happy to accept room viewings. Just contact us and a representative from Chelmsford Therapy Rooms will arrange a date and time for you to view the room when convenient for you.

For Therapists:

Chelmsford therapy rooms offer a professional therapy space where you can work with your clients at an affordable rate. The rate per 30 minute slot for qualified therapists is £5, for students and Newly Qualified therapists (in first year of qualifying) a 30 minute slot is £3.50. You will have your own keys to the premises and the room is available from between 6am and 11pm, giving you flexibility for both your clients and your own practice.

The room is located downstairs, meaning easy access for elderly and disabled clients. There are also both male and female disabled toilets located downstairs. Tea and coffee facilities are available upstairs in the kitchen. CTR have their own cupboard so tea, coffee sugar and milk are also provided at no extra cost. There are plastic cups available so that you can offer your clients water.

Chelmsford Therapy Rooms offers a safe place for your therapy, both entrances are secure and all therapists are vetted before they join as a member. This means that the therapists have provided us with their credentials, proof of insurance, and proof they are a member of a professional body. We offer different types of therapy that cater for those looking to feel emotionally, psychologically or physically better including massage therapy, counselling, hypnotherapy and nutritional therapy.

Qualified Therapists:

If you would like to use CTR, before you book any space we ask that you provide certain information. We pride ourselves on running an extremely professional practice, the information we require is purely to ensure the people using CTR are professional therapists who are fully qualified and insured. All records are kept completely confidential and under lock and key. We require the following:

  • Proof of Qualifications
  • Proof of membership of a professional body (NCS, HS, BACP, GHR etc)
  • Proof of Civil Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
  • £25 deposit for keys. The keys are cut for you free of charge, the deposit is there as insurance in case the keys need replacing.
  • Signed contract provided by CTR

 

Students and Newly Qualified Therapists in First Year of Qualification:

If you would like to use CTR, before you book any space we ask that you provide certain information. We pride ourselves on running an extremely professional practice, the information we require is purely to ensure the people using CTR are professional trainees or newly qualified therapists who are fully supervised. All records are kept completely confidential and under lock and key. We require the following:

For Students:

  • Proof of the course you are currently studying on, including start date and expected qualification date
  • Evidence of which professional body you will eventually be a member of
  • Proof of Supervision (name and contact details of Supervisor. If you are a student this may be your tutor – in which case we require the tutor details)
  • £25 deposit for keys. The keys are cut for you free of charge, the deposit is there as insurance in case the keys need replacing.
  • Signed contract provided by CTR

For Newly Qualified (in first year of qualifying)

  • Proof of Qualifications, including the date you qualified (for example your certificate will have this information on there)
  • Proof of membership of a professional body (NCS, HS, BACP, GHR etc)
  • Proof of Civil Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance
  • £25 deposit for keys. The keys are cut for you free of charge, the deposit is there as insurance in case the keys need replacing.
  • Signed contract provided by CTR

No, we do not offer student placements. This is a therapy room rental service only.

1: To book a room, please use the booking system here. If you are a student or in your first year of qualifying click here

2: Pick your time slots. Remember these are start times in 30minute slots so if you want to book an hour, say 6am to 7am, you would need to pick 6am and 6:30am.

3: Fill in the form, your name, phone number, security code etc.

4: Now you will be taken to the payment page. We use the secure PayPal system, if you do not have a PayPal account you will be given the option to set up a secure PayPal account and pay via card. You can then use your PayPal account to purchase room space easily and securely each time.

5: Once the payment has been processed (usually a few seconds) that’s it – you’ve booked the room! You will receive an email confirmation and a booking reminder 24hrs before your booked slot. Enjoy!

Here is a step by step guide as to how you can quickly and easily start booking your professional therapy room in Chelmsford:

Firstly, you need to be a member of Chelmsford Therapy rooms. If you have already joined and have your keys etc, you can scroll past this bit!

1: Get in touch! You can do this via the contact form, email us or call us from the details on the Contact Us page. If you would like to arrange a viewing we can do this at a time that is convenient for you. If you would like to book the room without arranging a viewing that’s absolutely fine, however we will need to meet you at some point to give you the keys!

Students and First Year Qualified

3: Once we have checked and verified your details we will send you the contract to sign. Again you can post the signed contract to the address above or you can print, sign, scan and email back to us.

4: The final stage is getting the keys. You can send us the money for the deposit of £25 via BACS, cheque, or cash. Once the deposit has been received if paying via bacs or when the cheque has cleared if paying via cheque we will arrange to meet you and give you the keys. If paying by cash we can meet you and collect the cash and give you the keys on the same day.

This is why all therapists join as members, have signed a contract to use the therapy room, and are expected to keep up to date with their Professional Memberships, Insurance and Continuing Professional Development as appropriate.
