Consultation Room Hire for Students at Chelmsford Therapy Rooms

In order to hire therapy room space you must first become a member of Chelmsford Therapy Rooms. Once you have joined, we can offer you a fully-equipped and furnished therapy room on a per-session basis. The rooms have been designed by a qualified professional therapist in order to provide a safe and relaxed atmosphere that will put both you and your patient at ease. Booking the room couldn’t be easier, we use an easy online calendar system that you can use to book clients on the spot to ensure you can book the room at a time that suits both you and your client. The room is available on a first come first served basis, if the room is available on the calendar you can book it there and then, No need to wait for confirmation, an email is sent to you immediately. You can block book up to 60 thirty minute slots (30 one hour slots) at a time per room.

The rate per 30 minute slot for qualified therapists is £5 (so £10 per hour), for students we offer a 30% discount so you pay £3.50 per 30 mins (so £7 per hour). The premises is accessible from between 6am and 11pm, giving you flexibility for both your clients and your own practice. All rooms are on the ground floor meaning easy access. We have a fully stocked kitchen so help yourself to tea and coffee.

If you would like to become a member of CTR so that you can use the therapy room, before you book any space we ask that you provide certain information. We pride ourselves on running an extremely professional practice, the information we require is purely to ensure the people using CTR are professional therapists who are fully qualified and insured. All records are kept completely confidential. For Students we require:

  • Proof of the course you are currently studying on, including start date and expected qualification date
  • Evidence of which professional body you will be a member of
  • Proof of Supervision (name and contact details of Supervisor. If you are a student this may be your tutor – in which case we require the tutor details
  • Membership fee – these vary depending on the membership option you choose. The keys are cut for you free of charge, the membership fee is there as insurance in case the keys need replacing and to help with maintenance of the therapy rooms. The keys are released upon your first client booking.
  • Signed contract provided by CTR

We require that you view the room and meet a member of CTR management for a brief interview before making any bookings. Apart from us making sure you are happy with the rooms, you will also need to meet us to provide copies of your credentials (if you haven’t emailed them), you will be shown how to use the booking system, and inform us of what membership level you wish to take so we can send the correct membership fee link.
