The Process with Counselling and Hypnotherapy is very simple. Here’s an overview of how the process works with counselling and hypnotherapy:
1: Firstly you need to contact a therapist. If you would like to choose a therapist, please visit our Therapists page and click on the links to view our Therapist’s Pages. Don’t mind which therapist you see? You can simply Contact us via phone on 0330 100 5162, email to firstname.lastname@example.org or the contact form on the right hand side of this page. 2: The counsellor or hypnotherapist, or a representative from Chelmsford Therapy Rooms, will respond to your query. The next step is to make an appointment for an Initial Consultation or Assessment. This is where you meet your therapist, explain to them the issues you feel you need help with (if you know – your issue might be that you don’t know what’s wrong! Don’t worry, we’ll help you figure it out…) and then the counsellor or hypnotherapist will discuss with you how their brand or type of therapy can help you.
3: If you wish you can book further sessions. Each counsellor and hypnotherapist has their own way of working. A therapist may charge for the Initial Consultation or Assessment, but some do not. This is something you can ascertain before you attend the Initial Consultation or Assessment. Some therapists book appointments week to week. Other therapists book clients every fortnight. You may be able to book a few sessions in with your therapist. It’s entirely up to the therapist and yourself to decide how to proceed with therapy in your first appointment.
