Specialisms: Sue covers a wide range of issues but specialises in Adults, Children and Adolescents. She has extensive experience of working with both adults, children and young people in a variety of settings i.e Charitable sector, schools, NHS and Local Authority CAMHS, Youth Service, Primary Care and Adult Mental Health Services and Private Practice.

She works creatively with children and adolescents who may suffer with anxiety, depression, stress such as exam stress, OCD, ADHD, neuro-developmental disorders, bed wetting, encopresis, separation anxiety, attachment difficulties and trauma using sandtray, puppetry, arts etc . She also has experience of working with adults with mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, work related stress, phobias, OCD, agoraphobia, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Sue’s therapeutic approach is integrative which means she may draw on a number of theories and models to assist her in the understanding of your difficulties and will work with you to help you address and resolve your worries and concerns. She works from a relational/humanistic perspective as she believes the relationship between the therapist and client is fundamental to the work and in the promotion of emotional growth, health and well being and change. She is able to offer traditional talking therapy as well as a creative arts/play based psychotherapy to children and young people.

Fees:

Sue charges £55 per counselling hour (50mins) for individual private therapy with adults, adolescents or an individual child with one accompanying parent if applicable. If parents come together she charges £60.
